"Larch Mountain, Oregon ... July 7, 2014"
The Trip:    Hot day in Portland (high 80s) but cooler with some breeze at Larch ... went to look for Hermit Warblers ... SUCCESS !!!!!!!!! ... heard quite a few but saw only one ...

Larch Mountain:    Larch Mountain is a large volcanic cone located east of Portland ... there is a road to a parking lot near the top and a short climb to Sherrard Point, a spot which provides spectacular views of the Cascades ... Larch Mountain is a fantastic spot during wildflower season.
